The Jackie Robinson, Jr. Brooklyn Dodgers Jacket Project

By Mateusz Wojnarowicz, Founder & Donor

Hereby, I, Mateusz Wojnarowicz, Polish-Multiracial teenage entrepreneur and innovator, and, Founder & CEO of Mateusz Wojnarowicz LLC humanitarian holding company, am the honored owner of a child’s Brooklyn Dodgers jacket that belonged to Jackie Robinson, Jr. (1945-1971). The artifact’s inner tag credits Tim McAuliffe as the maker. I wore the artifact once when I myself was 5 years old, thus, some indication of the size. In the interest of the legacy and remembrance of Jackie Robinson (1919-1972), I desire to donate on loan said artifact for display at an established institution honoring American sports pioneer Jackie Robinson.

Hereby, I, Mateusz Wojnarowicz, as the artifact’s owner and lender, honor Jackie Robinson Jr. as he was the son of Jackie Robinson who broke the color barrier of segregation as the first African-American to play Major League Baseball. Thus, this artifact of a child’s Brooklyn Dodgers Jacket which was made distinctly for Jackie Robinson’s young son Jackie Robinson Jr. is a symbol of civil rights era progress and prosperity.

Hence, as a supporter of civil rights and of youth rights and empowerment, I founded The Jackie Robinson Jr. Brooklyn Dodgers Jacket Project. Thus, I propose the artifact be displayed in a children's area of a museum, and, a Jackie Robinson Jr. scholarship for kids set up to correlate with the project’s exhibit of artifact.

Bardzo Dziękuję,
